What a joke........... My Nan has just returned from a holiday where she has flown from COVENTRY AIRPORT.

My nan has trouble with walking therefore ordered disabled traveler services, only to be told at the airport on the flight out, by staff, that they could not transport her to the plain but yes she could have a wheelchair (but no one to push her, (she travels alone)). 

My nan was also told  "you should not be traveling alone if you are disabled".

and was accusingly asked........

"and how do you manage when you get to your hotel if you CAN'T walk"

to which my nan replied "I hire a mobility scooter"

Finally after this abuse and discrimination my nan was helped onto a rickety old lift and hauled on to the plain.

You can imagine how she was made to feel ......

No Problems when she arrived at her destination (THANK YOU BENIDORM AIRPORT STAFF)

and again once she returned to COVENTRY AIRPORT the same abuse, discrimination, spoken to as if she was senile etc....

I recommend everyone to stay away from COVENTRY AIRPORT not just because of the staff ......... its just a shed this is the most uncomfortable and unfriendly airport anyone could have the misfortune of flying from.

We will be making a complaint to the airport.
